The Park Theatre had the honor to present a truly remarkable theatrical production last Saturday evening. We were so proud to present “The 24 Hour Plays: Monadnock!” It was a sell-out event that became a standing-room-only event. This innovative “Six one-act plays from scratch” in 24 hours production is the type of creative, inspiring and engaging entertainment The Park Theatre will continue to present for years to come.
I would like to thank The Matchbook Players company of writers, actors, directors, tech team, volunteers and most importantly, their founder/artistic director Paige Lussier Johnson. It was a bravura achievement.
We would like to thank our “producers”: D.D. Bean & Sons, Belletetes, Grove Street Fiduciary, Hill Family Insurance Agency and Sunflowers Café & Catering. Next up: the production value sponsors: Escape Hatch Comic Books and The Melamine Cup; the rehearsal space providers: Monadnock Maker-Space, TD Bank in Jaffrey, Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce, Jaffrey Civic Center, Jaffrey Parks & Recreation Department and the United Church of Jaffrey; and finally, starving artist meal supplier: Lab ‘n Lager. A special thanks to the Jaffrey Woman’s Club for use of their perfect venue.
I also thank The Board of Trustees for backing me when I said I wanted to present this event. The Park Theatre is blessed to have so many fans. Bravo to everyone, including our sell-out audience!
