Grammy-winner Paul Nelson brings his band to The Park Theatre, 19 Main St. in Jaffrey, Friday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m.
Nelson is recognized as a top contemporary guitarist, songwriter and producer. He was the hand-picked fellow guitarist to rock/blues icon Johnny Winter and has toured the world over, performing and or recording with artists ranging from Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy to Slash, Billy Gibbons, Paul McCartney, Bootsy Collins, and Ben Harper.
Nelson received a Grammy for Best Blues Album of the Year for his work performing on and producing Winter’s “Step Back.” Nelson also won the BMA Blues Music Award for Best Blues/Rock Album, reaching No. 16 on the Billboard Top 200 and staying at No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Charts for weeks. He also received the Blues Foundation’s KBA Keeping The Blues Alive Award.
