I have been thinking about the extraordinary film, “The Guide,” I was privileged to see March 22 at our beloved Peterborough Community Theater.
This hauntingly beautiful and devastating Ukrainian film has images and a story that won’t let go. As it shouldn’t. I want to give a big shout-out to the Peterborough Community Theater, to Vanessa Amsbury-Bonilla and Kevin Goohs, for getting this movie to us and for using the proceeds to provide humanitarian aid to the war-torn people of Ukraine.
I love this movie theater, and I deeply appreciate how they have kept it going in challenging times. An event like the PCT’s showing of “The Guide” exemplifies community at the highest level. Our town and Ukraine together. Thank you.
