Through the efforts of Peterborough and Sharon recyclers a total of 66.25 tons was recycled in the month of July.

Newspaper: 3.84
Cardboard: 9.1
Mixed paper: 16.38
Plastics: 3.09
Aluminum cans: .8
Steel cans: 1.32
Food waste: 1.16
Glass: 21
Textiles: 6.2
Books: 3.36
By recycling a total of 66.25 tons, $7,221.25 in disposal fees was avoided in June. Plus $3,185.40 in revenue was generated this month.
A total of $10,406.65 was saved.
