To the editor:
This letter is being written to express my strong support of the candidacy of Peggy Gilmour to represent District 12 in the New Hampshire Senate.
I have known Peggy for over 40 years during which she has been engaged in a vast array of organizations whose purpose is to help those less fortunate in life. She even went beyond that when she organized and later headed the Nashua Home Health and Hospice organization that many of our friends have, sadly, utilized.
She has represented Senate District 12 twice and each time was appointed to a committee dealing with health care issues, reflecting the fact that her education includes being a registered nurse, a bachelor’s degree as well as a master’s degree.
I understand the variety of issues relating to health care that come before the Senate because from 1997 to 2000 I served on the same committees that Peggy has been on. Thus, I can attest to the fact that Peggy’s background will benefit all of us.
Peggy is a highly principled person with an incredible work ethic. Her efforts in the Senate would benefit all of us.
