The winter night sky is filled with brilliant stars and legendary constellations. Get to know some of them during an evening of stargazing and storytelling with astronomy buff Victor Novotny and constellation mythology fan Susie Spikol on Friday, Jan. 24 from 8 to 9 p.m. at the Harris Center for Conservation Education, 83 Kings Hwy in Hancock.

Dress for winter weather, and bring a thermos of your favorite hot beverage to keep you warm. Since this program depends on clear skies, check the Harris Center website (https://harriscenter.org) to make sure the event is still going on. Cloudy weather date is Jan. 25.
