The fourth summer of concerts in Depot Park will open on Friday, July 8, with a performance by Los Sugar Kings of Boston, returning for a second year. This quartet pays tribute to the traditions of Afro-Cuban Son, rumba-flamenca and salsa, and draws from influences of rock-reggae fusion repertoire.

On July 15, Trio Sphere will return playing music of jazz legend Thelonious Monk. This year, the featured artists will be Tom Robinson on keyboards, Fender Rhodes and soprano saxophone, Scott Kiefner on bass with Tim Gilmore on percussion.

The Snaz, a young quartet featuring indie rock, will appear on July 22.

Dragonfly, a band consisting of local musicians, will be featured on July 29. Judy Blake on vocals and percussion, Ken Hamshaw on guitar and vocals, Danny Solomon on bass, and Owen Landis on drums cover an eclectic mix of classic and new rock, blues, folk, country and bluegrass.

The series will close out with a return performance of Paul Klemperer & the New Hampshire Ensemble on Aug. 5. Klemperer, blues and jazz saxophonist from Austin, Texas, will join up with Max Nunnemaker on bass, Spencer Peery on guitar, Joe Bartlett on drums and Gordon Peery on keyboard.

All concerts are free and scheduled for Fridays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. All are welcome to bring lawn chairs, a blanket or picnic supper.

In case of rain, the concerts will be held at Twelve Pine.

The concert series is sponsored by Twelve Pine, Bellows-Nichols Insurance Agency, and Depot Square.
