The inaugural Winchendon Music Festival will open this weekend with three concerts, all being held at the Old Centre Church, First Congregational Church of Winchendon.
Andrew Arceci, Teresa Wakim & Ensemble will open the series on Friday, June 24, at 7 p.m., featuring Baroque works by Marais (1656-1728), Forqueary (1671-1745), Francœur (1698-1787), and others.
Floyds Row, a British-American ensemble, will present a program exploring early, folk, and classical idioms, will perform on Saturday, June 25, at 7 p.m.
The final concert on Sunday, June 26, at 5 p.m. will feature jazz interpretations of the Great American Songbook as well as contemporary jazz compositions presented by John Arcaro & Band.
Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.
