For the second time this season, pitching aces James Record of Conant and River Fish of Monadnock dueled on the mound, and for the second straight time, Record and Conant came out on top. Record went six innings, striking out four and allowing only two hits as Conant came away with a 4-0 shutout win.
Craig Bilodeau doubled twice and knocked in a run.
Conant (9-1) is the hottest team in Division III right now headed into Wednesday afternoon’s game with Mascenic (9-4). The Orioles haven’t lost since the season opener against defending champs Campbell, and with Campbell’s loss to Bow on Saturday, Conant sits atop the division as it stands. Look for coverage of the Conant/Mascenic game online and in Tuesday’s Ledger-Transcript.
The Orioles host Stevens (6-4) on Friday at 4 p.m.
