A drizzly Saturday cut short many of the traditional Lyndeborough Community Day activities, those who braved the weather still enjoyed the cookout, touch-a-truck event, magic show and silent auction.
Rainy weather meant that many of the outdoor activities planned for the 12thย Annual celebration, including the fire departmentโs obstacle course, Lafayette Artillery camp and cannon shoot and an afternoon craft session didnโt go on as planned. But with the morning cloudy, by mostly free of rain, those who showed up early still enjoyed activities such as the hike to purgatory falls, vendor booths and fire department vehicles on display.ย
And activities under the tent and in the Center Hall, including the magic show by Joe Caulfield from Granite State Magicians, steak dinner and silent auction, carried on.
