The Bennington Conservation Commission will sponsor a free interactive bird-of-prey program at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, in the field on Bible Hill Road across from the Newhall Little League Field in Bennington.
Presented by Monadnock Falconry, the one-hour event offers participants of all ages a chance to learn about raptors through first-hand observation. Attendees will meet a Harris’s Hawk, watch it in flight, and learn about the species’ life history, behavior, and relationship with human handlers.
The outdoor presentation is free and open to the public, and the site is accessible to individuals with disabilities.
