Savings Bank of Walpole presented a $4,620 donation to the Cheshire County Conservation District following an Earth Day campaign encouraging customers to enroll in eStatements.
The bank pledged to donate $5 for every customer who switched to eStatements between April 22 and June 30, 2026. More than 900 customers participated in the campaign to support the district’s work conserving natural and agricultural resources in Cheshire County.
“One of the things that makes our communities special is the care people have for the places we call home,” said Mark Bodin, president of Savings Bank of Walpole. “More than 900 customers jumped on this opportunity to reduce paper while supporting a local organization doing important conservation work. We’re grateful for their participation and proud to present this donation to the Cheshire County Conservation District.”
