The Keene Family YMCA will host the fifth annual Cheshire County Veterans Expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 12 at 200 Summit Road in Keene.
The free event will connect veterans and their families with local organizations and businesses offering services, resources, employment opportunities and support.
Veterans will receive a complimentary lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a free haircut from Foundry Barbershop. The expo also will feature raffle prizes, family-friendly activities and exhibitors representing organizations that serve veterans. The YMCA’s outdoor play structure will be available for children.
Exhibitors will be located along the paved driveway behind the YMCA to provide access for guests with limited mobility. The event will be held rain or shine.
