Savings Bank of Walpole has announced the retirement of Tonya Waters after a nearly 50-year career in the banking industry.
Waters began her career in 1977 as an afternoon teller at the bank’s Walpole Village branch. After working at several other financial institutions, she returned to Savings Bank of Walpole in 2003, serving customers for the past 24 years primarily at the Walpole Village and North Meadow Plaza branches.
She concludes her career at the same Walpole Village location where she started.
Founded in Walpole, the $850 million mutual bank is an affiliate of NH Mutual Bancorp and a partner of the NHTrust brand, operating branches throughout the Monadnock Region.
