Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services will launch a six-week volunteer training series Sept. 25 at its facility at 312 Marlboro St. in Keene.
The training prepares participants to join the Hospice at HCS care team, which offers support to individuals and families facing end-of-life care in homes, nursing facilities, and assisted living communities. Working alongside nurses, social workers, and spiritual counselors, volunteers provide emotional support, companionship, and caregiver respite.
