The Grove Street Band will perform a free acoustic concert on July 17 at 7 p.m. at the Mariposa Museum & World Culture Center.

The local quartet includes Chaz Beaulieu on flute, Eric Blackmer on guitar, David Duhon on cello, and Lisa Murray on piano. Beaulieu and Blackmer have performed together for more than 25 years, while Duhon and Murray joined the group within the last six years.

The band’s upbeat and relaxed repertoire spans a variety of genres, with a focus on traditional and modern Celtic tunes, folk songs, and contemporary compositions by Tom Febonio and local legend Bob McQuillen.

The performance is open to individuals, families, and children. While admission is free, donations will be accepted to support both the band and the museum.

The Mariposa Museum, located at 26 Main St., is a wheelchair-accessible nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering cultural understanding. More information and tickets can be found at www.mariposamuseum.org or by contacting Miriam Carter at 603-547-0735.
