The Keene Lions Club will present “Jesus Christ Superstar” July 9 to 11 at Monadnock Regional High School.
Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. each night. The production will feature a local cast and band performing the rock opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, which retells the final days of Jesus Christ through the eyes of Judas Iscariot.
The show includes songs such as “Superstar,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” and “Heaven on Their Minds.”
“This production is more than just a musical — it is a powerful story brought to life by an extraordinarily talented local cast, dedicated volunteers, and a community that continues to support the arts in meaningful ways,” said producer Gregg Kleiner.
The production is a fundraiser for the Keene Lions Club’s charitable and community service efforts in the Monadnock Region.
