Three recipients of the Hancock Woman’s Club annual scholarship program recently spoke to club members about their educational pursuits and career goals.
The scholarships are awarded to adult women to support enrollment in programs designed to enhance careers and increase recipients’ impact on the broader community.
Ella Ferrisi is enrolled in the Master of Business Administration program at the University of New Hampshire, where she is studying leveraging technology for competitive advantage and creating winning strategies. Ferrisi said she hopes to develop leadership skills that will help foster innovation, inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
Hannah Kokoski is studying in the Physical Therapy Assistant program at River Valley Community College. She plans to use the training to help individuals recover from injury, illness and disease.
Angie LeFebvre recently earned a master’s degree in quality and patient safety from Southern New Hampshire University. The degree supports her work as senior director of quality and patient safety at Cheshire Medical Center.
Scholarship applications are available each January to Hancock residents and members of the local workforce. The program is funded through donations and fundraising efforts by the Hancock Woman’s Club.
