Eversource will mark Earth Month with an interactive art and conservation event later this month.

The energy company will host its second โ€œPaint With Matt Pattersonโ€ livestream on April 29 at 10 a.m., streaming on its Facebook and YouTube channels. The event invites participants across New England to paint along with wildlife artist Matt Patterson while learning about monarch butterflies and pollinator habitats.

The program is part of Eversourceโ€™s broader sustainability efforts, including its participation in a nationwide agreement to support monarch butterfly conservation. The company manages thousands of miles of power line corridors, which also serve as habitats for pollinators and other wildlife.

Officials said the event aims to combine art and environmental education while highlighting ongoing work to balance energy reliability with ecological stewardship. Patterson will guide viewers step-by-step in painting a monarch butterfly during the livestream.

The free virtual event is open to the public, with materials and participation details available online.
