Rindge, it’s time for change
To fellow voters of Rindge, this year I strongly urge you to vote for Robert Martin for the open seat on the Rindge Select Board.
Back in 2017 when he was running for re-election, Bob Hamilton made the following statement in the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript. โWe have seen a constant turnover of employees in town. This is not entirely a problem of salary, but rather a detrimental working atmosphere in some of our departments. If contentious behaviors and non-cooperative attitudes are not changed, then this turnover will continue.โ
Under Bob Hamiltonโs 12 years on the BOS the turnover did continue. We have lost four town administrators, finance directors, police chiefs, and officers, administrative assistants and more.
Resignation statements from individuals cite attacks on character, lack of support from the Select Board and town.
Last year the Rindge Select Board had a very contentious year. The divisiveness is apparent and detrimental to a working committee.
Robert Martin is open minded, devoted, and willing to serve our community. He was a selectman from 2003-2005. Robert has a long standing community involvement in our town.
We are at a turning point. Itโs time for a change. Robert Martin is an individual with strong community drive and is ready to make a positive change. Letโs restore a positive working atmosphere. Please vote for Robert Martin.
