โ€œColors from the North and Colors from the South,โ€ an exhibit of paintings by Laurence Danel-Moore, will be on display March 14 to April 16 at the Hancock Town Library.

An opening reception will be held Saturday, March 14, from 4-6 p.m. in the libraryโ€™s Daniels Room.

The exhibit features works in oils, pastel and watercolor inspired by Danel-Mooreโ€™s travels in New England and Europe. Her paintings reflect winter landscapes, summer scenes from Provence, France, and abstract works with gold and silver inlays.

Born in Lyon, France, Danel-Moore immigrated to the United States in 1986 and moved to Hancock in 2019. A physician, acupuncturist and hypnotherapist, she draws on her travels and experiences as inspiration for her artwork.

The exhibit can be viewed during regular library hours. Call 525-4411 before visiting to confirm room availability.
