Name: Robert (Bob) Hamilton
Position sought: Select board
Relevant experience: 12 years as selectman (five years as chairman), served on Budget Advisory Committee, Town and Gown meetings, Planning Board and Meetinghouse Oversight Committee for multiple years. Served on the Recreation Committee for one year. Worked with Cemetery Trustees on the cemetery upgrade project for five years. Over 20 years with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (Local 2325) as an executive board member, treasurer, shop steward, chief steward and representative to an international convention. Worked for over 35 years for New England Telephone and all of its successors until retiring from Verizon.
Reason for running: My wish is to continue to serve the people of Rindge for the next three years as a privilege but not as a ruler. Control spending and keep taxes as minimal as possible.
Most important issue: Control taxation. Spend only on “needs and not wants.” Continue to believe that the taxpayers’ money belongs in their pockets and is not to be taken unnecessarily for the town’s wishes, while also maintaining fair treatment to our employees.

Relevant experience: Small business owner for 42 years, including 28 years in financial services. Former Rindge selectman (2003–2005).
Reason for running: I’m running to use my business and financial experience to support responsible budgeting, strengthen public services, and ensure transparent, accountable leadership for Rindge residents.
Most important issues: Responsible taxes through disciplined budgeting and long-term planning, strong public safety services, and transparent communication to maintain trust, accountability, and effective town government for residents.

Name: Jennifer Helsel
Position sought: Planning Board
Relevant experience: Real estate paralegal
Reason for running: I am running for Planning Board because I am passionate about Rindge and I am deeply invested in shaping our community’s future together.
Most important issue: I am committed to actively shaping Rindge’s future by listening and talking with everyone, such as property owners, builders/developers and real estate agents, to help guide the growth of Rindge intentionally.
