Name: Frank Rizzo

Position Sought: Select Board.
Relevant Experience: Trustee and Chair of the Dublin Community Church for five years. Managed $200,000 and a construction project. Board member for six years for the Dublin Community Center, two years as its vice president and active on the Finance Committee.
Why are you running? My goals for the Select Board are to sustain Dublin’s broad sense of community, while supporting our public schools, working to mitigate the rising tax burden on modest-income, long-term residents and make it attractive for young families to afford to live here.
What is your most important issue? I believe we can do all these things with creative vision, a pragmatic spirit of compromise and an entrepreneurial mindset.
LIBRARY TRUSTEE

Name: Wallace “Waddy” Rowe
Age: 66
Position sought: Library Trustee
Relevant Experience: English Teacher for 39 years, Alternate Trustee last 14 months.
Why are you running? I have been a Dublin resident with my wife Melissa for 16 years. After 39 years of teaching in Connecticut, I retired to Dublin and wanted to become more involved in the town. As an English teacher, I understand the importance of the role of a library within a community. I have been an alternate trustee for a little over a year, and I have seen firsthand the ways in which the Dublin library is involved in the community that extends well beyond the books. There are many positive programs that have been developed and many resources as well. I want to be part of that impact moving forward.

Age: 77
Position sought: Library Trustee
Relevant Experience: I have been on the Trustee Board for three years and served as an alternate prior to becoming a trustee. Currently, I am chair of the board.
Why are you running? I would like to continue to serve our library and the stellar staff who have made it the vibrant place it is.
What is your most important issue? I want to continue supporting our talented staff so they will be able to continue the good work of serving our community well.
CEMETERY TRUSTEE

Name: Blake Anderson

Position Sought: CemeteryTrustee
Relevant experience: current trustee; summer cemetery laborer during junior high school
Why are you running? Everyone living in a small town looks for a way to contribute; this is my way.
What is your most important issue? The Dublin Cemetery is an important community asset. It is a place of quiet reverence, beauty, history, honor and memory. Iโd like to help preserve this.
TOWN CLERK/TAX COLLECTOR

Name: Sarah Wilcox
Age: 39
Position Sought: Town Clerk/Tax Collector
Relevant experience: I am the current Town Clerk/Tax Collector in Dublin. I have been serving in that elected position for one year. Prior to that, I served as Deputy TC/TX and Interim TC/TX for a little over a year.
Why are you running? I would love to continue serving the town in this way. I have greatly appreciated the job and getting to know the people in our community. It is a privilege to help where I can.
