The New Hampshire Alliance of Immigrants and Refugees and Working Films will host a free screening of the documentary “Without Shade Without Rest” on Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Keene Public Library.
Produced by Six Eye Films, the documentary focuses on the fight to secure heat protections for outdoor workers in Florida through the Coalition of Immokalee Workers and WeCount!.
Following the film, members of New Hampshire’s farmworker movement will participate in a panel discussion and Q&A to address the challenges facing local immigrant laborers.
