The Peterborough Welcome Team will host a community meet-and-greet event from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at the Peterborough Town Library.
The family-friendly gathering gives longtime residents and newcomers a chance to connect with neighbors and learn about local resources. Attendees can enjoy light snacks and enter to win raffle prizes. Local businesses and organizations interested in hosting an information table can email peterboroughwelcome@gmail.com to confirm space.
An official committee of the Peterborough Economic Development Authority, the Peterborough Welcome Team hosts events and distributes welcome baskets to help new residents integrate into the community.
While the event is free, advance RSVPs are encouraged at bit.ly/Nov26MeetAndGreet. For additional information, visit peterboroughworks.com/welcome.
