Pappas can earn my vote
In the NH Senate Primary, candidate Dr. Karishma Manzur received 50,268 or 32.7% of the vote. She won that support with little money, and through her positions and proposed policies: ending the Gaza genocide, Medicare For All, a minimum wage increase, calling to abolish ICE, and getting big money out of government. I was one of the 50,000 who voted for Karishma.
In contrast, candidate Chris Pappas has voted to send money and arms to Israel, supporting the Gaza genocide. In eight years in Congress, Pappas has never sponsored nor co-sponsored Medicare for All. Pappas has never sponsored a minimum wage increase. He voted to express appreciation to ICE and voted for the Laken-Riley Act, which created Constitutional due process violations for immigrants, including current legitimate visa holders, and DACA recipients. Finally, despite claiming he wants to “get big money out of politics,” Pappas has taken and continues to take dark money, including money directly from AIPAC.
Chris Pappas can earn my, and the people’s votes, by pledging to support Block the Bombs: A resolution supported by Amnesty International, Center for Constitutional Rights, and Jewish Voice for Peace Action. He can pledge to sponsor or co-sponsor Medicare For All, and pledge to sponsor or co-sponsor a minimum wage increase. Pappas can pledge to support the defunding and restructuring of ICE, and he can pledge to STOP taking AIPAC and dark money.
