The Jaffrey Women’s Club will prepare a free community meal on Thursday, Sept. 24, at the United Church of Jaffrey, at 54 Main St. The monthly gathering takes place on the fourth Thursday of each month from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
This month’s menu features individual chicken pot pies topped with a biscuit, cucumber-tomato salad, rolls, hot and cold apple cider, and warm apple dumplings served with vanilla ice cream.
While the supper is free to attend, any proceeds collected beyond meal expenses will benefit the Jaffrey Food Pantry.
