Local historian Bill LaPierre will present “History Hidden in the Woods” during the Monadnock Center for History and Culture’s 124th annual meeting on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 5 p.m. at 19 Grove St. in downtown Peterborough.
LaPierre, a Dublin resident currently writing a book on the historical geography of Cheshire County and the Monadnock region, will deliver an illustrated presentation highlighting forgotten historic sites nestled in local forests and along country roads.
