The New Ipswich Historical Society will hold its annual meeting on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 1:30 p.m. at the Barrett House, 79 Main St. in New Ipswich.
Following a brief business meeting, musician Jeff Warner will present “Banjos, Bones, and Ballads,” featuring traditional American folk songs and stories highlighting local history. Warner, a Portsmouth resident, has performed nationally for the Smithsonian Institution and throughout the state for New Hampshire Humanities.
The program is free and open to the public, with funding provided by New Hampshire Humanities and the Stearns-Burton Lecture Fund. CDs will be available for purchase.
