Fire Chief David Chamberlain gave members and guests of the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary an update on the Jaffrey Fire Department’s facility expansion at the club’s August 6 meeting.
Construction on the eastern side of the station on Route 124 will add second-story dormitories alongside full locker and shower facilities to support future full-time male and female crews.
Chamberlain also highlighted departmental fire prevention and education programs, emphasizing the importance of maintaining updated smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in local homes.
