Balin Books will participate in the national Bookstore Romance Day on Saturday, Aug. 15, at Somerset Plaza, 375 Amherst St.
The daylong celebration features refreshments, opportunities to connect with romance readers, and grab bags offering unpublished romance novels while supplies last. At 2 p.m., author Karen Coulters will hold a book signing and discussion for her contemporary romance novel, “Finding Home On Lilac Lane,” the second book in her York River series.
Eight independent bookstores in New Hampshire are participating in the event, which celebrates the growth of the romance and romantasy genres.
