Maine-based rock duo Muddy Ruckus will perform on Saturday, Aug. 29, at The Hidden Gem, bringing their high-voltage blend of punk blues, Americana grit, and psychedelic rock to the Wilton venue.
The duo, featuring Erika Stahl on suitcase-kick drums and Ryan Flaherty on guitar, will play from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15, with limited seating available at the venue, located at the site formerly known as The Listening Room and Prayers of Nature.
Ahead of the concert, the venue will celebrate its recent transformation with a grand reopening and rebranding event on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Owner Kate Schimke, who recently concluded a 10-year run with the Prayers of Nature brand, remodeled the space to construct a new performance stage. The redesigned location now functions as a dedicated live music event space alongside a shop selling novelty music items, used instruments, vintage vinyl, crystals, and gemstones.
Tickets for the Aug. 29 concert and additional venue information are available online at musicandrockshop.com. Band details can be found at muddyruckus.com.
