White Lake, WI – Frederick ‘Danny’ Daniel Woodward, age 64, of White Lake, Wisconsin, unexpectedly died on June 12, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born on February 8, 1962, in Peterborough, New Hampshire, to Betty Ann (Maynard) Woodward of Peterborough and the late Frederick Woodward.
He grew up in Dubin and graduated from ConVal High School in Peterborough. He followed in his father’s footsteps and proudly served in the United States Navy. He served for 4 years in the CB’s traveling to several countries. He married Wendy Sue Kwick on January 31, 1986 in Gulf Port, Mississippi. She preceded him in death on August 25, 2008.
Danny was a loving, caring son, devoted husband, wonderful brother, proud father, amazing grandfather and great friend. He loved everything outdoors, including hunting, fishing and watching the wildlife around his home. He was a mechanic, welder and fabricator, and could build a motor for anything. He enjoyed racing and riding dirt bikes.
He will be remembered for his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone, his smile and his ability to make everyone he met feel like a friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Myriah (Chuck) White of Jordan, MN, Frederick D (Kayla) Woodward of Antigo WI, Daniel Woodward of Antigo WI, Forrest (Carly) Woodward of Darlington WI and Wendy (fiancé Buddha) Woodward of Antigo, Corey Lowery and Kayla Alft of Antigo; eleven grandchildren, Jonathan Lowery, Coriana Lowery, Yriah Woodward, Phoenix White, Krystal White, Layla Woodward, Cleopatra Woodward, Emma Woodward, Jaxon Woodward, and Rowan Woodward. His three sisters, Tina (Bruce White) Woodward of Rindge, Sarah (Joseph) Sangermano of Dublin, and Joanne (Brian) Jones of Dublin. His good friends, Matthew Lee Robinson of Georgia and John Jo Kondzela of Wisconsin, his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
There are no calling hours. Burial with Military Honors will be held on Friday, August 7th, at 11:00AM at the Dublin Cemetery. Friends are welcome to attend. A time of story sharing and gathering will take place following burial at Dublin Community Center, 1123 Main St., Dublin, NH.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that those wishing to honor Danny’s memory consider planting a tree in his name, a tribute to his love for the outdoors.
