The Mariposa Museum will present an evening of music with the vocal quartet Windborne on Thursday, June 25, at 7 p.m. at the Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church.
Known locally for its annual holiday performances, Windborne specializes in vocal harmony rooted in traditional folk music. The group is recognized for innovative arrangements and performances that blend historical songs with contemporary themes.
In addition to their musical work, the singers draw inspiration from folk music’s connections to social activism, labor movements and civil rights causes.
The concert will take place at the church, located at 25 Main St. Tickets are $20 and are available through the Mariposa Museum website.
