The Jaffrey Civic Center will present โ€œForm & Color,โ€ an exhibition of non-objective abstract paintings by Bessann Triplett, June 12 through July 25 at 40 Main Street, Jaffrey.

An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 12, with light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artist.

Triplettโ€™s paintings use color, line and form to explore perception, memory and experience. After a 30-year career running a hand-weaving studio, she turned to painting and mixed media.

The center is open noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Admission to art shows and receptions is free. More information is available at jaffreyciviccenter.com.
