The Peterborough Town Library will present “Keep the Vision 2026,” an exhibit of acrylic and watercolor paintings by Jeanne Maguire Thieme, in the Community Art Gallery from June 5 through July 30.
An opening reception is scheduled for Friday, June 5, from 5-6:30 p.m. The library will also host an artist talk and demonstration Tuesday, June 23, from 2-3 p.m., where Thieme will discuss her process and answer questions.
Thieme’s work explores the natural world through watercolor and acrylic techniques that emphasize light, atmosphere and abstract patterns formed by water and pigment. One of her acrylic paintings was recently selected as a finalist in “AcrylicWorks 13: The Best of Acrylic Art” and will appear in a September 2026 issue of “Artists Magazine.”
“I paint my passions,” Thieme said. “If my work can remind us of the beauty and importance of protecting what we love, I will be comforted that I have been a part of a solution.”
