The Mascenic Regional High School band and chorus participated in the Great East Music Festival on May 1, earning honors for their performances.
As part of the festival, each ensemble performed for adjudicators and took part in a mini-clinic led by one of the judges. Groups were then scored and awarded Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze medals based on their ratings.
The chorus received a Platinum Award, while the band earned a Bronze Award.
