The Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church will host an open house Wednesday, May 20, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. for organizations interested in using its newly remodeled, fully accessible sanctuary and parish hall.

The church recently converted its former high pulpit into a movable pulpit and lectern, creating a flexible chancel space suitable for services, musical performances, speakers, plays and other events.

The 200-year-old sanctuary now includes an ADA-compliant ramp to the chancel, accessible seating and audio assistance devices.

Acoustic panels were also added to the parish hall ceiling and walls to improve sound quality and hearing accessibility. The hall can accommodate events of up to 110 people.

Both spaces are available for community use and rentals.

For more information, attend the open house or contact the church office at 603-924-6245 or puuc@uupeterborough.org.
