The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is seeking volunteer instructors for its Letโ€™s Go Fishing Program, which offers educational fishing programs statewide. Anglers of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.

A one-day instructor training will be held Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at NH Fish and Game Department Headquarters, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord. Lunch and training materials will be provided.

Participants will receive instruction in teaching techniques, ethics, policies and procedures, fish identification, and fishing regulations. Graduates may join the departmentโ€™s statewide network of volunteer fishing instructors.

โ€œBecoming an instructor is extremely rewarding and a fun way to get people involved in fishing and the outdoors,โ€ said Letโ€™s Go Fishing Program Coordinator Kyle Glencross.

Applications are available at wildlife.nh.gov/sites/g/files/ehbemt746/files/documents/lgf-application.pdf and must be completed and notarized before submission.
