The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is seeking volunteer instructors for its Let’s Go Fishing Program, which offers educational fishing programs statewide. Anglers of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
A one-day instructor training will be held Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at NH Fish and Game Department Headquarters, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord. Lunch and training materials will be provided.
Participants will receive instruction in teaching techniques, ethics, policies and procedures, fish identification, and fishing regulations. Graduates may join the department’s statewide network of volunteer fishing instructors.
“Becoming an instructor is extremely rewarding and a fun way to get people involved in fishing and the outdoors,” said Let’s Go Fishing Program Coordinator Kyle Glencross.
