Town administrators working hours
Regarding the article comparing town administrators’ varying pay levels, I wish the article had included how many hours they work, e.g., full-time or part-time. It has been frustrating to find the Peterborough town offices are closed on Fridays and they do not have extended hours the other days of the week which is surprising given the high pay scale compared to other towns. I would like to see extended hours for residents unable to get to offices between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. if the offices aren’t open on Fridays, and to provide transparency that full-time staff are actually working full-time hours.
