Eileen Ivers will perform Friday, May 1, at The Park Theater in Jaffrey in a concert presented by Peterborough Folk Music.
Doors open at 6:15 p.m. The show starts at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $35 online and $40 at the door, payable by cash or check only.
The New York Times called Ivers “the Jimi Hendrix of the Violin.” She is a nine-time All-Ireland fiddle champion and is described in the announcement as “a national treasure.” Her career includes work as a performer, composer, producer, songwriter, band leader, educator and multi-instrumentalist.
Peterborough Folk Music said Ivers previously appeared at The Park Theater and “electrified our audience with a dazzling show of virtuoso playing.”
