The Jaffrey Civic Center will host the final talk of the fifth season of its โStories to Shareโ series on Friday, May 1, at 5 p.m.
The featured speaker will be Joe Steinfield, presenting โGone Fishinโ โ A Trial Lawyerโs Memories.โ Steinfield, a Stevens High School graduate, earned degrees from Brown University and Harvard Law School and has practiced as a trial lawyer for more than 60 years. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has taught constitutional law at Boston College Law School, the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce Law School and Keene State Collegeโs Cheshire Academy for Lifelong Learning.
Steinfield has written more than 300 articles for regional publications, including the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript, the Keene Sentinel and the Concord Monitor, and is the author of two essay collections, โClaremont Boyโ and โTime for Everything.โ He also founded the โStories to Shareโ program and served as its moderator for its first four seasons.
The program is free and open to the public, though donations are encouraged to support future events. It will be held in person at the Jaffrey Civic Center and recorded for later viewing.
