Dr. Dana Lord Huntley

Exeter, NH – Dr. Dana Lord Huntley, 76, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. He lived in Epping, NH, and attended First Kingston Congregational Church. Born in Bellows Falls, VT, on March 27, 1950, to Rev. Quentin and Frances (Lord) Huntley. He graduated from Dublin Christian Academy before attending The King's College in NY. He earned a Ph.D. in British Literature from Drew University while a full-time Professor at Northeastern Bible College. He raised his family in Peterborough, NH, and was a founding elder of Monadnock Congregational Church. He founded Lord Addison Travel and was the Editor of British Heritage Magazine. He wrote multiple books, including America's Forgotten Colonial History. Above all, Dana valued faith and family. He is survived by his wife Janet Huntley; children Gillian (Mike) Boyd; Taylor (Anna) Huntley; Miranda (George) Wegricht; Peter (Meg) Yarosewick; and Ian Dillingham; grandchildren Teagan, Moriah, Nico Wegricht; Macy Boyd; and Otis Huntley; brother Paul (Karen) Huntley; and sister Sara Huntley. Visitation is at 10:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am on April 18, 2026, at First Kingston Congregational Church in Kingston, NH.
