Broadway returns to Hancock with Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, at the Hancock Meetinghouse.
The production stars Brittney Redler and Philip Themio Stoddard, with the Jr. Mints youth chorus, the Norway Pond Festival Singers, a professional band and the “Catalyst” barbershop quartet of New York.
The Sunday performance is set for 4 p.m. April 19. Organizers also have opened the final dress rehearsal to the public at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, because of strong response.
The musical, set in small-town Iowa in 1912, includes “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Ya Got Trouble,” “Till There Was You,” “Lida Rose” and “The Wells Fargo Wagon.”
Tickets are available for both performances. Students are admitted free, along with one accompanying adult.
