The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department will hold a public meeting on proposed 2026โ€“2027 waterfowl hunting season dates and bag limits at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at department headquarters, 11 Hazen Drive, Concord.

Comments from the meeting will be considered as the state finalizes migratory game bird season dates. Written comments also will be accepted through March 31 at comments@wildlife.nh.gov with โ€œWaterfowl season settingโ€ in the subject line.

The proposal is similar to last yearโ€™s and reflects requests for more late-season opportunity. It includes a 60-day general duck season with a six-duck daily bag limit and a 60-day regular goose season with a two-bird bag limit.

Special days would include statewide veteran and active military hunts Jan. 23-24 and a youth waterfowl weekend Sept. 26-27.

Full draft proposals and zone maps are available on the departmentโ€™s website.
