The DubHub at the Dublin Community Center will launch a new series, โConversations with Music Creators,โ at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at 1123 Main St. in Dublin. Admission is free.
The series features locally based, nationally recognized composers, songwriters and musicians who present samples of their work, discuss the creative process and take questions from the audience.
The first program will feature composer, music director and pianist Zach Redler; songwriter, guitarist and band leader Ethan McBrien; and guitarist and composer Ezra Landis. Volkert Volkersz, a DubHub board member and retired music educator, will serve as host.
Redler is music program director at the Dublin School and has written works performed in concert halls, opera houses and theaters worldwide. McBrien, originally from Dublin and now living in Nelson, leads the psych-folk band Party of the Sun. Landis, of Jaffrey, performs internationally in the kirtan and world music circuit.
