2026 operating budget for Rindge
I’m speaking in hopes that citizens of Rindge will pass the 2026 operational budget. With population growth, it’s vital for residents to keep our important services going, so our devoted workforces of Rindge can continue to provide us with the amenities we all too often take for granted.
Our hardworking dedicated Rindge employees, department heads and their entire staff, along with our 24/7 town administrator and our executive secretary are outstanding. All are ever so strong and solid in their profession and contribute so much to performing the local services that are essential in our community.
We’ve been praised in past years for “living within our means…,” the Board of Selectmen, along with the Budget Advisory Committee, have done just that in their interactions at budget meetings. People do come first in their viewpoints. They have worked tirelessly for our municipality. They gave selfless support
2025 was a difficult year in many ways and could become harder with another default budget. If repeated, “what local services can you do without?” Less plowing and road maintenance — we do have the best roads around. Our fire department, EMTs and police officers are there to assist with desperate needs. Our recreational department has mega programs and events. Same holds true for our library, clubs, organizations, boards, committees and a whole lot of volunteers – they are all part of the good that happens in Rindge, let us not lose sight of that!
So please, vote yes on March 10 to pass our 2026 operating budget.
