Peterborough Folk Music will host a special big screen and sound presentation of “You Got Gold: A Celebration of John Prine” at The Park Theatre in Jaffrey.
The concert documentary will be shown Friday, Jan. 30, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15. The runtime is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The screening will take place in the 333-seat Eppes Auditorium, featuring a 27-foot-wide screen and a 17-speaker surround sound system.
Filmed in October 2022 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, the film captures a tribute concert honoring songwriter John Prine, with performances and stories from artists, friends and family. Featured performers include Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Tyler Childers, Lucinda Williams, Dwight Yoakam, Jason Isbell and Bob Weir.
