Say her name: Renee Good

If you can watch the video of Renee Good saying โ€œItโ€™s OK dude Iโ€™m not mad at you” to the man who moments later shot her three times and not see it as a threat to yourself, you are missing an important point. The lesson we were supposed to have learned from this tragic event is that one must obey a masked white man with a gun or you might get shot. That officer seems to have believed that he had cause, authority and immunity to do what he did. He didnโ€™t. She became an enemy because she was watching them. If you look at this and donโ€™t see the threat to your own safety, you had better look again.
This is important! Think! Why Minneapolis? Why Minnesota? Minneapolis/ St. Paul was a nice place, a safe place before ICE invaded. Clean, healthy, peaceful, with more opportunity than most of the country. It was a good place to raise a family because the American Dream was still alive and well in Minnesota. Consider that Gov. Tim Walz was the VP candidate in 2024 and the state voted for Harris/ Walz. The Somalis are an easy boogie man because almost no one outside Minnesota knows the history of how they got there. Most important: Minnesota doesnโ€™t have large cities with dense multicultural populations motivated to fight back against government tyranny. I think DHS โ€œleadershipโ€ thought it would be a cake walk. They misjudged the situation — badly!
Say her name! Renee Good. She is me, she is you, she is an American citizen who was engaged in lawful First Amendment activity. She did not deserve to be shot dead.
And yet she was. RIP Renee Good. May your death not have been in vain!
