Our Own House thanks you
The board members of Our Own House found it immensely rewarding to see so many guests fill the Upper Hall of Peterborough’s Town House on Nov. 22 for an evening of dancing and building community.
We were thrilled to see you dance to the lively notes of The Flaming Poodles, who top the list of those who donated their time and talents to help Our Own House introduce itself and its mission. Others pitching in were Costco, Savron Graphics, Melissa Rowe (graphic design), Jaffrey Lions Club, and Nate Brescia (photography), and Terry Reeves (illuminated table decorations). Terry, Beckie Schnakenberg-Martin, and Lara Haupt Stone made quick work of picking up and packing up. Throughout the evening, emcee Aaron Kullgren kept our focus on our purpose.
The food, drink, raffle, and music were all about helping our guests have a good time while expressing support and donating to help a vision come true— building and staffing houses for adults with developmental disabilities.
